Prominent Iranian journalist Issa Saharkhiz was arrested by the IRGC on charges of “propaganda against the state” and “insulting the Supreme leader“.
His arrest follows an uptick of journalist arrests that began last week, with at least five taken into custody as of November 4. The IRGC defended the arrests by accusing the journalists of taking part in a multi-layered infiltration network. Find the full story here.
