Iranian Civil Rights Activist Elham Rasouli Baghi Sentenced to One Year in Prison

Iranian activist for civil rights Elham Rasouli Baghi was sentenced to one year in prison by the Tehran’s Revolutionary Court. She had been arrested on May 12, 2016, during a rally against the high level of corruption in Iran’s bureaucratic circles. Her interrogation was led by agents of the Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Sarallah Garrison.

The move is just another in a series of what is a political hunt of the Regime against activists and other political subjects that do not want to conform to the tyrannical rule.
