November 11, 2015: Two reformist political prisoners of Evin Prison began a hunger strike last Thursday, November 5, after sending a letter to President Rouhani which indicated that they will only stop their strike after their cases have been submitted for review.

The two prisoners, Majid Azarpey and Ali Shariati, accused the government of imprisoning them under a long list of false charges. These false charges were meant to dissuade youth from following their examples of activism and political protest against the regime. Find out more here.
